I'm aspiring to be a Fashion designer one day very soon in the close future. I like to post things that I see the beauty in that others might not. I want to inspire others and also be inspired and show off my own designs while I also comment about world of fashion as I see it. But apart from fashion, I will be also posting drawing, maybe poetry, photo's I take from where ever I go and other random stuff me and my panda friend Mimi and Allison my nacho libre get up to, or me speaking my mind every so often when needed. The inspiration here is highly personal – the designer’s own heritage – which goes at least some way towards explaining the exquisite hand-craftsmanship that goes into each piece as well, of course, as bird head-dresses and McQueen tartan. The collection is luxurious and romantic but melancholic and even austere at the same time. The silhouette – all nipped waists, bustles and exaggerated hip lines – is designed to exaggerate a woman’s form and each piece is unique, a one-off couture creation with emotional content intended to be handed down from generation to generation like the most precious of heirlooms.
